Road tires
Road tires are referred to as HT tires. Applicable models: SUVs, off-road vehicles.
Road tires have soft walls and fine tread patterns, making them comfortable and quiet on the road, but they are not suitable for use on terrain other than the road, otherwise they are very fragile and prone to wear.
All-terrain tires
Terrain tires are referred to as AT tires, applicable models: off-road vehicles.
The pattern design of all-terrain tires is rougher, and the spacing of tire teeth is slightly larger than that of road tires, the negative effect of this design is that road performance decreases and noise increases, but the durability and adhesion on non-paved roads are stronger than road tires, and it is a tire with both off-road and road performance.
Mud tires
Muddy tires are referred to as MT tires, which are generally only used by off-road enthusiasts and workers on special road sections.
The tire wall of the mud tire is hard, the tire teeth are exaggerated, and the distance between the tire teeth is obviously large, which is convenient for slow mud discharge or high-speed mud dumping when driving on the mud, and it is easier to increase the adhesion on some bad ground, especially on the bad terrain is not easy to damage, but the noise of the mud tire will be very loud when driving on the road, and the vibration can be clearly felt when the speed is low.
Snow tires
Snow tires are tires suitable for use on snowy roads, rubber tires have metal nails that can increase grip, compared with ordinary tires, the material of snow tire tread is softer, and the carefully formulated silica mixture rubber formula can contact more closely with the smooth ice surface, resulting in greater friction, making the vehicle's handling and safety on the smooth ice surface greatly improved, and the lower the temperature, the softer the tires, so as to obtain better grip.
Spare tire
Generally, the car will have a spare tire, its specifications will be the same as the original car tire specifications, in fact, the spare tire belongs to the emergency use, can not be used for a long time, if the spare tire is used for a long time, it will increase the pressure of other tires, resulting in abnormal wear and tear, so the spare tire should be replaced in time after emergency use. In addition, the spare tire is also a rubber product, and the storage time is too long to cause aging, generally speaking, the aging period of the tire is about 4 years, and the spare tire needs to be replaced after 4 years.
Run-flat tires
Flat-proof tires are in the case of deflated tires, the vehicle can still travel 80 kilometers at a speed of 80 km/h, so that driving is safer, to avoid the situation that the vehicle is out of control instantly, and the vehicle is equipped with "burst-proof tires" to solve the worrying safety problem to the greatest extent. Flat tires are designed to be supported by a sturdy sidewall or by a device called a ring that supports the tire from the inside so that it doesn't crush and prevents the tire from falling off the gasket.
