Ordinary pattern
The normal pattern is suitable for use on hard pavement. It is divided into longitudinal pattern, horizontal pattern and both vertical and horizontal pattern. The longitudinal pattern is suitable for driving on relatively clean and good hard roads. For example, cars, light trucks and minivans are more likely to choose this pattern. Lateral tread tires are suitable for medium or heavy trucks on general hard roads with relatively high traction. The vertical and horizontal tread tires have strong adaptability and a wide range of applications, which are suitable for different hard road surfaces, as well as for cars and trucks.
Off-road pattern
The off-road pattern, also known as the block pattern, is characterized by the wide and deep groove of the pattern, and the grounding area of the pattern block is relatively small (about 40%~60%). Off-road patterns are divided into two types: undirected and directed. Directed patterns are directional when used. Off-road tread tires are suitable for use on rough roads, soft dirt roads, and roadless areas. Due to the high contact pressure and rolling resistance of the pattern block, it is not suitable for long-term driving on good hard roads. Otherwise, it will aggravate tire wear, increase fuel consumption, and the car will also vibrate.
Mixed patterns
The mixed pattern is a transitional pattern between the normal pattern and the off-road pattern. It is characterized by narrow tread grooves in different directions or longitudinal directions in the middle of the tread, and wide tread grooves in different directions or transverse directions on both sides. Such a pattern collocation makes the mixed pattern have good comprehensive performance and strong adaptability. It is not only suitable for good hard pavement, but also suitable for gravel pavement, slush pavement and soft pavement, and its adhesion performance is better than that of ordinary patterns, but its wear resistance is slightly inferior. Some trucks and four-wheel drive passenger cars use this type of tread tire.
Single-guide pattern
The single-guide pattern is that the pattern grooves are all connected to each other, showing an independent pattern block structure. It has excellent braking performance, excellent drainage performance, excellent stability performance in rainy days, and is suitable for high-speed driving. However, the tires must be mounted in the same direction as the driving direction. It is suitable for high-speed car use.
Block pattern
The grooves are connected to each other and form an independent pattern block structure. It has superior braking and handling performance, superior handling and stability performance on snow and wet roads, and good drainage performance in rainy days. However, its independent pattern block structure has poor wear resistance. Scope of application: all-weather and snow tires for cars, rear wheels for commercial vehicles.
Asymmetrical pattern
The left and right sides of the tread with an asymmetrical pattern have different shapes. Because it increases the landing pressure of the outer side pattern during turning, greatly improves the high-speed turning performance, and makes up the wear resistance of the outside pattern. However, attention must be paid to the correct orientation of the tires. It is more suitable for competitive cars and high-performance vehicles.
