Inner tube protector is primarily used to shield the contact surface of the inner tube from rim wear. Additionally, it can prevent the inner tube from being pinched or damaged by both the rim and the outer tire bead, thus prolonging the service life of the inner tube.

The middle part of the flap is thicker, and the two edges gradually become thinner from the inside to the outside. There is usually a center line on its outer surface, which serves as the alignment line during installation, and there is also a hole on the center line for the valve to pass through.The tire flap should possess good wear resistance, which is why most tire flaps are made of natural rubber.
